Nogales is nor American nor Mexican. That is the greatest difficulty to face while on the border. The Mexico Federal Highway 15 lines the city. Carry your passport just in case. The area is notoriously famous for walnuts as they grow abundantly here. The picnic areas are full of those trees. If you are planning a last minute visit to Mexico you still can do that from here.
