ABOUT THE AREA
Cliffside Park Public Library and Cliffside Park Municipal Court are conveniently located on the same street. The post office is located on Gorge Road and is just two blocks away. One does not have to pay anything to avail of the Public Library. It's a free Public library. The Palisades Amusement Park in this town used to be operational until 1971. During the 90 odd years that it was functional, it was so popular that residents complained every now and then about visitors littering the place, playing loud music etc. The Palisades Amusement Park Historical Society has now captured those years in the form of photographs and books written by people who knew the Park as it was then. A trip to this Historical Society is like a trip to a museum.
