The Shanty Creek Resort has some great things to offer. It also offers all the snow based activities and you actually do not have to step out. The Grass River natural area located close by is also a nice nature preserve to visit. even summers is fun here actually. There is a cedar swamp which is only accessible in the warmer seasons.
