Escanaba is a waterfront city of Michigan and actually one get tired of water everywhere or snow everywhere. If you have been doing too much of that then we suggest you actually do something different in the city. Visit Ernie’s Irish Pub for some good music from Ireland and good Irish Cream. Okay if you prefer American MGD to ale then you can head to a place like Hereford and Hops. Escanaba means a flat rock in the native Indian language. There is another place in Michigan by the name of Flat Rock and several times people confuse it with the other city. Even maps sometimes point to the wrong city. So if you are going to Escanaba then better cross check. The city is also called the Heart of Upper Michigan. Not through feelings but through location.
