This borough of 8500 people is located close to the NY-NJ border. It is bounded by the Passaic River on the west and the Hackensack River on the east. The town has a cute little Historical Society that promotes preservation and study of local history. It has many memorabilia and photographs from the past on display and is still collecting. This Society encourages citizens to give in their valuable input - be it photographs, stories of the past or ideas for improving the society. The famous Meadowlands Sports Complex and Rutherford Memorial Park are located within a mile's distance of this Municipal Court. This is the home of the 1986 and 1990 Superbowl Champion NY Giants, or the Jints as they are sometimes called by their fans. The great Lawrence Taylor used to prowl here, aiming to hit opposing quarterbacks so hard they would blow snot bubbles. Crunch!
