ABOUT THE AREA
Kalkaska lies in the snow belt of the state and therefore sees a lot of snowfall. It is a winter attraction for many holiday goers. Even otherwise the small village which is emerging as a fast growing city has quite a lot to offer. The Boardman River that runs right through this village is a nice place to hang out in the evenings. There is so much you can do here in one evening.
