The borough of Elmwood Park has nearly 19,000 residents. Though largely residential, Elmwood park is home to a lot of businesses too. Market Street that runs through this town has a strip mall that carries everything from clothes to handicrafts. It also has many restaurants and other utility stores. The Elmwood Shopping Center which is located on Route 4 was renovated just recently. There is a high-tech mall that has computer shops, garments shops etc. Marcal Paper Co, which manufactures bathroom tissue and other paper products has a plant in this town. Home to many who work in a nearby big city.
