Even though the city of Englewood is just 12 miles away from Manhattan, the residential character of this city has remained untouched. This city has a diverse population engaging in varied occupations. Quite a few of it's residents work in New York City and commute using public transportation. The city is home to the high-tech Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. Englewood has many private schools - Moriah School of Englewood, Elisabeth Morrow School and Dwight-Englewood School to name a few. A great downtown area, the streets are dotted with strip malls selling knickknacks and other goodies. The City has an excellent Public Library - very soon books and magazines might be made available online too.

Routes 4, 17, 80 and 95 criss-cross this town. These Routes and the Palisades Interstate Parkway bring in quite a few traffic violations to this court.
