ABOUT THE AREA
The mainstays of Tillamook's economy are the area's timber, dairy, fishing and tourism industries. Tillamookâs new Town Square Transit and Visitor Center serves as the central point for all Transportation District bus routes in Tillamook County. The facility has restrooms, an indoor waiting area with seating as well as office space for the Tillamook Area Chambers of Commerce. There is a covered waiting area outside which adjoins the driveway for buses.
