Yorktown, population less than 5,000, is part of the Muncie metropolitan area. It is on the banks of the White River and Tuck Creek. Downtown has been revitalized at a cost of 5.5 million dollars. There's a newly opened Sports Park and YMCA here and the first annual golf tournament will be in May of 2010. State Highways 332 and 32 traverse the town.
