Hibbings County Court is one of three branches of the St. Louis County District court. A major road US 169 runs through Hibbings and SR 73 is on the West side of town.

Hibbing was established at the end of the 19th century. It is the site of the world's largest open pit Iron ore mine. If you've ever traveled on a Greyhound bus you might want to pay a visit to the Greyhound Bus Museum. Here the story of the men and machines that created Greyhound Bus Lines is told using pictorial displays, hundreds of artifacts and memorabilia. The Chisholm-Hibbing Airport does not have a control tower but boasts of a Full Instrument Landing System (ILS) on Runway 13. This airport with its main runway over 6,700 feet in length provides daily Delta Connections turbo prop flights to Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport.
