Any place named with the word springs has something to do with mineral water springs and baths. The native Indians who discovered this place actually called it Tah-hah-Lehaha, which means Healing waters. Pretty much anywhere in the United States different tribes of this community always believed that there was a special healing property to this natural spring water which actually tasted like Soda.
