To be specific you might call the Otter Tail County Court by its official name Otter Tail County District Court . The major road in town is CR 210 which runs along with US Hway 59 and intersects with IS Hway 94 to the West of town. US Hway 52 and IS Hway 94 run concurrently West of town.

Several lakes are around and about Fergus Falls. These lakes and the more than 500 acres of green space in town offer many recreational opportunities. A Center for the Arts in Fergus Falls has year-round music, dance, theatre and visual arts programs for the visitors entertainment and relaxation. One branch of the Minnesota State Community And Technical College, a public college, is located in Fergus Falls and offers the Associate degree in several fields. Its main concetration is on the fields of Health care, Home services, Humanities and Liberal arts and Prtective services.
