| About the area |
The Waneka Lake Park is quite a huge expanse and the things to do here are boat rides and fishing. Though not known for the fish primarily the boat rides can be fun though. They are not very expensive and you can rent the boat while you camp. The Old Town has been renovated and today it serves as a community center for various festivals and activities. The Wine festival held during Thanksgiving is worth a visit. |
