About the area	Secaucus is pretty densely populated, with nearly 16,000 residents in just 0.6 square miles. The town has grown out of it's 'poor image' in the last 3 decades due to recent economic development. In the early 1900s, Secaucus had many pig-farms and junk yards, and people often referred to it as the 'town that stinks'. However, today, Secaucus has a good public library located on Paterson Plank Road, Mill Creek Mall on Route 3, Harmon Core Mall on Enterprise Avenue and a Secaucus Plaza in the downtown area. The town also has 2 elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. Highway 3 and I-95 overshadow Secaucus as they are very busy highways.
