| About the area |
The Greenwood County Museum is housed in a modern brick faced building. There are exhibits here with displays representative of cattle ranching, oil, the one room schoolhouse and about various former residents of the area. There is a shed with a number of old farm implements on the grounds and an exhibit devoted to Utopia College and its founder. The museum is the repository of many geneological sources such as family files, obituary files, cemetery files, marriage records, school files, newspaper files, family histories and newspaper Indexes.
