| About the area | Roxbury is a great area to visit the African-American arts programs there. Museum of the National Center of African-American artists and the Hamill Gallery of African Art are both located here. Both museums celebrate rich and wonderful ethnic heritage of the Roxbury area. You can visit artists and attend a lecture. There are tours and temporary exhibits to see. The architecture is also a main attraction. Some of the buildings have been there since the 1700s. There are also several parks to visit with walking trails and playgrounds. |
