One of the quieter areas in MA, near the NH border. Some nice parks here.
Eleanor Norcross created the Fitchburg Art Museum. This is a major attraction to the area. Many different types of paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts are on display there. The museum started in the twenties and was unconventional for its time. There are all kinds of exhibits and they change during different times of the year. There is also an educational center there and art classes are taught. |
