About the area

Welcome to the home of LEGO bricks. Yes they are manufactured in Enfield and LEGO happens to be the top most employers in the city. While Enfield is known for its toy manufacturer it was also known for making gun powder and ammunition in the past. Such is the dichotomy in relationship between its past and the present. Today Enfield is famous for the amazingly high number of shopping malls like the Enfield Square Mall which is just one of them. Located on the banks of the Connecticut River, it is a beautiful hamlet which looks very colorful in fall for its foliage. To get a glimpse of this you could visit any of the numerous parks here.
I-91 passes through, running along the river. The Massachusetts border is just to the north, and Bradley Airport is across the river.

Judges

One of the few courts in the state that seem to have only one judge, the lonely Judge Dyer. Poor fellow.

Prosecutors

Seems there was recent controversy involving a local prosecutor named Parakilas and a local judge. Hopefully that has blown over.

Speeding tickets on I-91 are the busiest thing in Enfield Traffic Court.
