Comments	The Village of Nassau has a separate Court. Do not confuse the town or village with Nassau County which is on Long Island. The court itself is not too small, not too big. Entrance is kind of odd, and parking can get messy. Street parking is a bit easier.
About the area	Originally settled as Phillipstown, the Town of Nassau includes the communities of Alps, E. Nassau, Hoag Corners, Denault Corners, Jack's Corners, Millers Corners, Brainard, Dunham Hollow, N. Nassau and Nassau. The community was named for the German duchy associated with the House of Orange.
Hours of Operation	Every Wednesday evening at 7 pm; office M-F 1-4.
Judges	Town Justices are Hon. Stephen E Cooper and Henry Goebel Jr.
Prosecutors	The county DA prosecutes most cases. Lately we've been dealing with Jessica Hall.
Type Of Cases	Traffic and some minor criminal; not the busiest court.
