Comments	Court staff is great and judges are reasonable. An attorney can usually get an adjournment, even at the last minute. Call the Court in advance to make sure you go at the right time. The time on the ticket may not be the best time to show up, as the ADA may leave earlier than you expect.
About the area	Clifton Park is a thriving suburb north of Albany in southern Saratoga County. It's seen a lot of residential development. The town has no police force of its own, relying on the County Sheriff and State Troopers. Taxpayers in Colonie and Guilderland are jealous.
Hours of Operation	Criminal & Traffic Wednesdays & Thursdays at 7 pm. Small Claims starts at 5 but should be scheduled in advance. Note that Heggen often leaves before 7 pm, so it
Judges	Hon. James F. Hughes & Hon. Robert A. Rybak. Judge Hughes is a former cop and one of the smartest, wisest, and fairest judges around.
Prosecutors	Karen Heggen, from the Saratoga County DA's office, is the ADA for this Court. She generally gives deals that are not as good as one might get from other ADAs, and she will try the case if you don't accept her offer. She's friendly and not unreasonable, but the deals just aren't as good. It's possible she has moved on from Clifton Park Town Court, and another ADA might be here.
Type Of Cases	Lots of speeding tickets from the Northway in Clifton Park Traffic Court. Also criminal cases, small claims, etc.
