About the area District 05-2-17 serves Baldwin Township, Castle Shannon Borough, and Whitehall Borough, all right outside Pittsburgh proper, and the cops are just as tough as the city cops. However, Castle Shannon doesn`t see much action. The main roads in this are Saw Mill Run Road/Rt. 51, Glass Mill Road, and Brownsville Road, all which lead to the Monongahela River and its respective bridges.
