About the area District 05-2-38 serves Ward 19 including the neighborhoods of Beechview, Brookline, and Mt. Washington. Beechview is strictly residentially, while Brookline (one of the largest neighborhoods in Pittsburgh) is a blend of residential and commercial. Brookline has many proud, community-involved citizens. Brookline has its own downtown district on Brookline Blvd, and down below, on West Liberty Avenue, Brookline merges into the business district of Dormont. In my opinion, Brookline is home to the best pizza in Pittsburgh: Fiori's. It is located on Capitol Avenue, which is a steep, winding cobblestone road right off West Liberty heading southbound. As for Mt. Washington: it is famous for its lookouts where you can gaze upon the entire city of Pittsburgh. Mt. Washington also has one of the two inclines left where you can take a slow-moving shuttle up and down the hill while enjoying the panorama.
