Honorable Ravenstahl is the father of the Mayor of Pittsburgh, Luke Ravenstahl, who is the youngest mayor in Pittsburgh`s history. Public service, especially in the courts, runs deep in this family. Honorable Ravenstahl`s father was a Ward Leader and a State Representative. The family is truly committed to the second-coming of Pittsburgh, and in fact, many positive changes (at least economically) have been achieved during their tenures. |

District 05-2-42 serves Wards 26 and 27, the neighborhoods of Brighton Road, Perrysville, Riverview, and Woods Run. This area is an extension of the North Side. Although not as dangerous, it does have its troubles. There is a major highway that runs through here---Rt. 279---which serves as the northern commuter route and the gateway to Cleveland. |
