They say Rome wasn't built in a day, but that's the other Rome. This one didn't take that long. Okay, just kidding. Rome NY has lost some of its bustle since the air base closed. They're trying to make up for it with the Griffiss Business and Tech Park, but it's just not the same. The City Motto, "At Least We're Not Utica," doesn't inspire confidence either.
