Comments	As with most public buildings in the Town of Gates, the Town Court building is relatively new and pleasant. The courtrooms, public spaces and grounds are well maintained.
About the area	Gates is a well populated, growing suburb of Rochester, NY. While mostly residential in nature, Gates is home to Wegmans' executive offices and distribution center. One of Rochester's premier movie complexes, including an IMAX theater, is also located in Gates.
Hours of Operation	Hours vary. Most sessions begin at 5:30 Monday -Thursday.

Prosecutors	The Local Courts Bureau of the Monroe County District Attorney�s office is responsible for prosecuting traffic violations and criminal matters within the Town of Gates. An ADA is there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Type Of Cases	Speeding tickets from I-490 and 390. Simple assaults and disorderly conduct are also common due to increased weekend activity at the movie theater.
