Courthouse name is Orange County Superior Court Harbor Justice Center-Newport Beach
Traffic - Night Court Session Tuesday (1st and 3rd Tuesday each month) is held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
The Newport Beach Traffic Court has hosted some high profile drunken driving cases like the most recent Richie Sambora aka Bon Jovi who was caught driving under the influence of alcohol. Sure enough in his words “It’s my life”! Cops don’t seem to agree with his point of view!
Newport Beach Superior Court also sees problems from UC Irvine students when they step over the line.
|About the area||Only California’s beaches can mix glamor with relaxation, and with tourism. Newport Beach as a city that provides a unique combination of things to do with adventure and learning. The harbor side of the beach looks into your face with its mighty and classy yachts leaving you wondering who that lucky cat is who owns these ritzy yachts. In summers you can see a surfing competition literally here on the shores. The night life is not underground and it is a “bare it all” scene here. This could be a perfect vacation getaway as well as a secluded one too. It is truly California unvisited out here! Other things include the historical Balboa House and the Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve. These places are adventurous and fun to visit. If you are visiting the city in May then you should try the Newport Food and Wine festival which is a treat for your taste buds. The Chimayo Grill is located in a suave shopping oasis called the Fashion Island and while soaking up all the latest styles do visit the grill for lunch!
Interesting how Newport Beach manages to combine spectacular views with room for industrial development.
