Fontana is home to a NASCAR racing center the California Speedway. In the racing season the city runs full house and is booked up all over. The NASCAR Nextel cup is held here two times a year. It is also a major intersection point to Route 66, I-10 and I-210. The NASCAR enthusiasts better not test their skills on these roads as they may end up giving explanations in the court. It is supposedly the busiest intersection in California, though we personally believe that nothing can get worse than LA roads. It is also known to be as one of the most scenic cities in California and in fact in the west. Because you have the views of the deserts, mountains and the beaches, this is an ideal vacation zone. People visiting the city whether for NASCAR, business or pleasure have plenty of things to do in terms of outdoor recreation. The wine country is not too far either!
