| Comments | Albany Traffic Court has dramatically improved its handling of the paperwork. Used to be a very slow court, taking 3 months for them to acknowledge a "not guilty" plea, and then several months for a trial date. Things seem to move a lot quicker now. Judges are generally very pleasant, and they tend to fine less than some other courts - at least for attorneys. Troopers will occasionally miswrite tickets to indicate Criminal Part, but those tickets are still heard in Traffic Part. Court fax is listed, but they may not accept documents by fax. |
