About the area	Dewitt is a town of about 25,000 that has grown into such a hotbed for jobs that it now boasts 43,000 workday residents. Routes 481 and 92 intersect in the heart of Dewitt, and Shoppingtown Mall is located there. The town was named after Major Moses DeWitt, a judge and soldier in the Revolutionary War.
Hours of Operation	Clerk: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Court is held on Tuesday (Gideon) and Wednesday (Schultz) nights at 7:00pm.
