| About the area |
In the late 1800s the area was occupied by immigrants who farmed dryland wheat. Arrival of the Milwaukee Railroad in the early 1900s attracted additional settlers. The completion of the East Low Canal, a part of the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project in the 1950's contributed to the population of Warden. About 4 miles from the center of town; the Sage Hills Golf Resort offers 18 holes of golf over 6,591 yards. |
