About the area	Wonderful area with a great history. Sodus Point is one spot that many tourists come to see in the summertime. The lighthouse museum is a common stopping point and has some fantastic exhibits. Events like festivals and the historic Erie Canal attracts vistors from all over the state. Lake Ontario is another main attraction with its wonderful swimming areas, accomodations, and activites.
