| Comments | A busy court suffering from an overdose of drug cases and recovering from police corruption that is hopefully now in the past. Versaci is said to take a very tough line on prostitution cases. Civil Part is at 105 Jay Street. |
| About the area | The City of Schenectady was the home of General Electric. Like many upstate cities, industrial decline and suburban flight have left the city in a difficult position. Recent economic development efforts create some hope. The Union College area is doing well. |
| Hours of Operation | This is a full-time court. M-F 9-5. |
| Judges | Hon. Guido Loyola (is he still there?), Hon. Vincent Versaci & Hon. Christine Clark |
| Prosecutors | Schenectady DA's office handles most cases in the City Court. We've heard that traffic cases cannot be resolved by mail, unlike the rest of the county. Hopefully that will change. |
| Type Of Cases | A substantial amount of urban crime, much of it the result of drug prohibition. |
