About the area	The Downsville covered bridge is a main attraction in the Colchester and Downsville area. People from all over the area come to take a walk down it or check out the river while there. The townspeople decorate it at Christmas time and tell ghost stories about it at Halloween. This rural area has many farms and little population. Many of these farms raise cows and sheep. Also, their main crop is corn and alfalfa hay.
Hours of Operation	Check with the judges, but we think Tuesdays at 1 pm for Edel, and Wednesdays at 7 for DeRosia.

Mar 23 2010 12:48:36: This town court is missing 3 letters on the sign in a garbage building in a garbage town, with incompetent staff and the judge is buddies with the sheriff. The sheriff gives tickets 1 hr away but the town eeks by with what little revenue the court brings in. The best thing to do if you get a ticket is gas all the way up before you get near to not support the local economy while paying your fine, and bring your own lunch/coffee. If we take away this income the town will suffer and NY will be better for it.
Mar 12 2010 05:50:21: I was ticketed here and looked for the "Court" for about two hours - come to find that the "Court" is a shack behind a gravel pile, near the culvert depot on some uncharted road... Good times.
