I was born and raised in Schuyler County and therefore know the ins and outs of each Court in the County. After graduating from the Syracuse University College of Law in 2005, I returned to Watkins Glen and practiced as an Assistant DA for two years and then was the Chief Public Defender for three and a half years, both positions held in Schuyler County. I have handled hundreds of cases both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney from simple traffic violations and DWI's to the most serious crimes. I am well known and respected in every court in Schuyler County. I have many hours of experience before each Judge in Schuyler County and am able to navigate each of the different personalities, knowing which arguments work and those that don't, so as to maintain credibility and respect with each of them. While I have less experience practicing in the other counties surrounding Schuyler, the close proximity has allowed me to practice in many of the courts in Tompkins, Chemung and Tioga. I have handled multiple jury and bench trials at the misdemeanor and felony level, and have won arguments on appeal at the New York Appellate Division, Third Department. Areas of law include: all criminal defense, family court (including custody, support, neglect/abuse), probation and parole violations, real estate, matrimonial and wills.
