When you walk the downtown of historic Burlington you will find an impressive facade of buildings that is a cross section of the early 20h century architecture and Victorian and American revival styles. Some of the properties were built in 1880 and some are even older. The entire street has been marked in the National Historic Register because of its unique cocktail of architectures.
