ABOUT THE AREA
Named after Anthony Wayne who was known as the General "Mad", this community established back in the late 18th century is home of more than 4100 people. The Greene County Airport and the Waynesburg University represent the pride of this territory county seat of Greene County of less than 1 square mile of land, which shares frontiers with Morrisville, Jefferson, Marianna, and Clarksville.
