St. Mary's District Court

St. Mary's District Court is located in Alaska's Forth judicial district. The longest streets in St. Mary's are Airguard road and Dixon circle.

St Mary's is a small town on the Andreasky river. It is comprised of the Yup'ik villages of St. Mary's and Andreafsky and the Algaaciq Native village, a federally-recognized tribe, is located within the community. One of the few ways to get here is by air. This mode of transportation was recently the impetus for an act of heroism by a young mother. After the plane she was riding in crashed a few miles outside of St. Mary's; she left her dying son to lead rescuers to the site probably saving the lives of the survivors. With a large number of residents holding commercial fishing permits; the economy here is significantly dependent on this industry. Boreal fisheries, near St. Mary's, in partnership with local Eskimo fishing families who fish for this famed Alaska salmon; ships fresh salmon and frozen salmon worldwide and smoked Alaska salmon to markets around the country.
