SR 14 and US 31 will get you most anywhere in Prattville. US 82 82 makes a nice loop around the Southern part of the city and IS 65 lies to the East.

About the area

Residents of Prattville are lucky. This is a city with several parks, an Olympic size pool and a sports complex with seven ballfields, five of which are lighted. They get to enjoy Prattvilles own annual themed Mardi Gras parade held at the end of January. There are floats and just like in New Orleans; beads, candy, and moon pies are thrown by the participants. A band provides entertainment before and during the parade and there is a children’s fun area. The annual Fountain City Arts Festival held in March is a juried show which features artists and fine crafters from throughout the Southeast who display and sell their work. There is also a featured artist who demonstrates his craft during the festival. Live bands play throughout the festival and if you get hungry while attending, a variety of food vendors are ready to satisfy your craving.
