About the area

Gilbertown is as small as it gets with less than 200 people and an area under 1 square mile. Yet it draws locals from around the Choctaw County area to their business district and social gatherings. The Choctaw County Heritage Festival, held at the end of May and stretching into June, features several singing groups over the duration of the fair. This event also has an Antique and Late Model Car and Truck Show anda dog show.
