Two major roads, US 31 and US 278 meet in the center of the town. Sr 69 courses through the town before running to the East and SR 157 runs through the Northern part of town.

About the area

The first week in October is the time for the annual Cullman Oktoberfest at the Festhalle Market Platz. There is plenty of food, music and dancing at this event. Of course the centerpiece is lots of good beer. And what would it be like without the Bratwurst tasting and the Bratwurst Eating contest. The Cullman County museum features interactive displays and modern exhibits which provide examples of the German heritage, native American lifestyles, adventure of early pioneers and Deep South folklore .
