Travel through Shorter on its only major road, US 80, if you will but don't have a heavy foot. IS 85 lies just to the North of town.

About the area

Talk about small; less than 400 people here; but you would not want to put more people in the small area occupied by the town. However they do have a caino operating here; one of the few Non-Indian casinos around, a Greyhound racing track. This is a young town having been incorporated in the 1980's.
