About the area |
The Annual Hamburg Armadillo festival is held in Downtown square at the beginning of May. This event has something for everyone. There are carnival rides, petting zoo, food and craft vendors, a 5K run and talent, puppet and pet shows. Try to see the lawnmower and armadillo races. You might want to take part in one of the contests. Some are nice to take part in and one might take a strong stomach. The contest are Limbo, Potato Sack race, Pie Throwing and Armadillo Meat Eating. There is band music on each of the days of the festival. |
