About the area |
The Arkansas Frontier is a working farm built by teachers to enable children to understand the importance of farming to the area. Among its features are a one-room schoolhouse, a dog-trot house, an Indian village, hay ride, farm animals, a sluice to mine for treasures, frontier golf, pick a pumpkin, dino dash, duck races, a covered wagon, an enchanted forest, pedal car races, train ride and Liberty Hall. The farm animals here include pigs, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, guineas, ducks, geese, rabbits and cattle. There also lamas and a herd of miniature horses. |
