About the area |
If you want to float along on Crooked Creek, go to City park which has a canoe landing. There is also a lighted walking trail, baseball diamonds and a sports court in this park. You can also try your hand at catching one or two of the smallmouth bass which populate the creek. Yellville is also the approach to the Buffalo National river which is known for its rapids, quiet pools and massive bluffs. The park surrounding the river has plenty of hiking trails where you can enjoy the lush growth and rushing waters. |
