About the area |
The Lepanto museum has all kinds of exhibits representative of the life and history of the area. There are stuffed animals, farm implements, a dentist's chair, military uniforms from different wars, an old switchboard, clothing from different periods and a bunch of old lanterns. The city was the setting for the film "A Painted House: based on a novel by John Grisham, an Arkansas native. The Painted House movie set constructed for the film remains standing and is a museum with items and furnishings used in the movie on display. |
