If you come to Lincoln during the first weekend in October you will find out why the residents can't wait for the annual Arkansas Apple Festival to start. There are free apple slices, apple cider, arts and crafts featuring works of talented artisans in the Ozarks, a talent contest, the Apple Core Throwing contest and live music on each of the three days of this event. Lincoln Lake and its surrounding area covers about 90 acres in which you can do rock climbing, ride on mountain bike trails, hike and canoe. |
