While USW 71 passes through a good part of West Fork, IS 540 only passes through a small Western part of town and SR 170 cuts across the middle of town. |

About the area |
West Fork began to operate as a town when the old water-mill plant at the head of the creek was moved to the area and the steam mills were built around 1875. However growth was small until the railroad arrived a few years later. The first West Fork school building was erected starting in 1878. The city's Riverside park has a trail, a playground, pavilions and views from its bluffs on the West Fork White river. |
