Blythe is located on the California-Arizona border and Interstate 10 crosses from here over the Colorado River. The City is very agriculturally influenced however sees an influx of tourists during winters every year. What is so special-the weather and why it is so special- because of the Sonora Desert temperatures people come here to get away from the harsh winters. It is the water sports Mecca in winters by the Colorado river. The city is also famous for the Mojave tribe which dwelled several years ago and created the Intaglios and the geoglyphs which are present even today. Hiking, hunting, boating, kayaking, and other water sports are what Blythe is famous for. And there is also an occult touch to Blythe where you can see some of the ghost towns.
This is also just one more place in the US with both golf and green hills. |
