About the area

Castle Wood Canyon State Park is a wooded canyon actually. Usually when you visit the canyon landscapes you mostly find rocks however this area is more dense. Nature and pet lovers will definitely enjoy this place more than anywhere else. The Cherry Creek Winds down from the top and you can stop at several ideal places to rest like river bank or water falls. The only negative is that there is no camping here and the park does not allow trekking in the nights.
